Walk Like a Man — Leadership Ministries

WALK LIKE A MAN

Today males have a difficult road moving from boys to men. Our culture struggles to even define a man, much less understand the unique and specific purposes for which God made him. The Apostle Paul tells us to “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong” (1 Corinthians 16:13). Join us on a journey of manhood, walking through Scripture to find seven specific directions for men. In these we can realize the reasons for which man was created. And as we follow God’s road for manhood, we can grow to “stand firm and act like men”.

The Psalmist sings, “What is man that you are mindful of him, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet” (Psalm 8:4-6). In other words, man is something special. But we must mature, and learn to act like men.
